WHO WE ARE
IYD is a non-governmental, non-profit organization with no political affiliation, operating in humanitarian relief and development sectors. It is a leading entity in responding to humanitarian crises and rebuilding affected communities through its trained and professional teams. The organization is committed to humanitarian values, aiming to assist vulnerable groups in disaster-stricken and conflict-affected areas. Established in 2013, IYD is licensed in multiple countries.
Sectors
WASH
The objective of this sector is to provide services related to water, sanitation, and the environment, as well as increase access to sanitation and hygiene promotion. IYD is one of the leading organizations in this field. The projects carried out by IYD are among the largest projects implemented in this field.
SNFI
The objective of this sector is to provide life-sustaining and life-saving shelter support. It contributes towards the resilience and cohesion of communities and households by improving housing and community / public infrastructure.
ERL
The early recovery and livelihood sector is involved in working to increase access to a stable source of income through the provision of inputs and raw materials, investment of resources and available assistance, and improvement of the agricultural situation, livestock production, and health.
FS & ER
The food security sector is one of the most important sectors of humanitarian work. It is concerned with assessing the nutritional status of the affected societies and identifying the best approaches to facilitate the regular access of the beneficiaries to food, whether through food baskets or cooked meals, or food vouchers.
Protection
The protection sector is the sector that secures the protection of beneficiaries from the exploitation of all kinds through the establishment of awareness sessions for the beneficiaries to inform them of their rights, in addition to following up on complaints that we receive about cases of exploitation that may occur to them.
