PURPOSE OF THE ASSIGNMENT:

The overall objective of the training is to build the capacity of staff of IYD in Primavera software. This will enhance project management skills, empowers professionals to use Primavera software efficiently, and contributes to successful project implementation.

The trained staff will improve:

  • Project Management Competence: Participants enhance their project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Effective Use of Primavera Software: Training equips staff to navigate and utilize Primavera Learn to create detailed project plans, track progress, and generate reports.
  • Risk Mitigation: Understanding risk management helps staff identify and mitigate project risks, leading to better outcomes.
  • Career Advancement in the Organization.
SCOPE OF WORK

The assignment is to impart 6 working days in Primavera and how will further utilize the skills learnt.
From 15 to 31- August 2024 (36 training hours in separated days)

The training is aimed to achieve following objectives:
  • Project Planning and Scheduling: Primavera helps in creating detailed project plans and schedules, allowing project managers to define tasks, allocate resources, and set timelines.
  • Resource Management: It enables efficient management of resources, ensuring that the right resources are available at the right time.
  • Risk Management: Primavera includes tools for identifying, analyzing, and mitigating risks, helping to ensure project success.
  • Collaboration and Communication: The software facilitates collaboration among team members
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Primavera provides real-time tracking and reporting capabilities, allowing project managers to monitor progress and make informed decisions.
METHODOLOGY:
  • Deliver using a blended learning approach and might comprises of presentations, interactive sessions of practical exercise and group works.
  • Practical sessions using case, individual or group exercises will be given to participants after each session to make sure that they can apply what they have learnt into practice immediately.
  • Participatory training methods such as brainstorming, simulation, group discussion and case analysis.
KEY DELIVERABLES:

Following deliverables are expected from the training provider:

  • The trainer will prepare agenda/contents/sessions of the training and submit these at least one week before start of the training.
  • The trainer shall conduct pre-test from all participants of the training.
  • The trainer will also share complete package of training material that may be provided to the participants.

Trainer will facilitate preparation of training follow up and action planAfter the completion of the training, the trainer will share comprehensive training report on the agreed format within 10 days after the completion of the training.

LOCATION:

The location will be in Syria, Idlib, at the office.

 TIMEFRAME

This is a short-term assignment for Firms/ consultants based in Turkey for a period of 6 days training from 15 to 30/Aug/2024 (36 training hours in separated days)

LANGUAGE

  • Language of speak during the training: Arabic with using some English terms.
  • Language of the training files: English.
  • Language of discussion: Arabic.

DUITES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The trainer/consultant/resource person will:

  • Sign with IYD a consultancy agreement and work as a resource person for the days training event.
  • Discuss and agree with IYD on the final training package, content and deliverables.
  • Design an appropriate process of the training leading to the desired results.
  • Propose on the most appropriate training methodology for effective delivery of the assignment.
  • Device the tools required for each session of the training.
  • Satisfactorily facilitate the training sessions and ensuring active engagement of all the participants.
  • Share relevant training materials and provide any resource materials for further reading and reference by IYD staff.
  • Design a questionnaire for pre and post-test (to be used before and after the workshop) for workshops to gauge the level of understanding of the participants about the topics discussed in the training workshop.
  • Compile and submit quality training report (one soft copy).

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:

The resource person/consultant should possess following qualifications and expertise:

  • Minimum university degree in Social Science, Communication, Education, Business, or other relevant field. [20 points].
  • Professional Experience: Experience in strategic management roles within reputable organizations. [20 points]
  • Strong understanding of effective training methodologies and tools. [15 points]
  • Demonstrated high level of professionalism and an ability to work independently and in high pressure situations under tight deadlines [15 points]
  • Strong communication, analytical and drafting skills. [10 points]
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

Consultant/resource person/ firms are required to submit their technical and financial proposals the IYD HR department on given link.

TECHINCAL PROPOSAL: with weight 80%

The technical proposal should include but not limited to the following information:

  • A brief outline of recent experience and client references in carrying out assignments of similar nature (Max. 1 pages)
  • Detailed description of how the consultant/firms understands and will respond to the ToR including time frame and number of persons involved in and comments on the ToR (Max 2 pages)
  • CV/Resume of Trainer
FINANCIAL PROPOSAL: with weight 20%

The financial proposal must contain overall quotation in Turkish Lira (USD) for all the services to be provided and must follows the following:

  • An all-inclusive day rate who will take place in assignment
  • Summary of the total costs for the services proposed
  • Any taxes applicable
  • Bank account
  • Valid date for the quotation.
PROPOSED PAYMENT SCHEDULE:

100% of the payment will be released to the trainer one week after training completion.
