Job Purpose:

Supervise all monitoring and evaluation of project activities in order to ensure their implementation required quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure data received from the field is correct and usable for integration into the central database and reporting.
  • Design data collection tools and research methodologies and translate these tools and methodologies.
  • Support the collection and management of data sets, and verify and update collected data.
  • Monitor the accuracy of collected data and the proper link between field data and the database.
  • Administer the information collected through the feedback and response mechanism.
  • Submit reports to document MEAL activities such as (verification, baseline, end line, and training).
  • Assist in planning and implementation of baseline surveys, monitoring and evaluation exercises, and impact assessments when needed.
  • Design MEAL log frame for projects and follow up with indicators to determine the progress.
  • Working with the MEAL inside Syria to brief them on upcoming activities, methodologies, and research tools for MEAL activities.
  • Coordinate with other departments, especially with the programs team, to ensure all potential data collection needs are addressed.

Qualification (Education – Work Experience):
Essential:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in statistics, international; development, and/or any relevant field.
    • One to Three years of progressive professional MEAL experience.
    • Working-level in English and Arabic.
Desirable:
    • Master’s degree in MEAL or Data Science.
    •  More than three years of progressive professional MEAL experience.
    • Advanced level in both English and Arabic.
