Job Purpose:

Supporting the Media Section in the implementation and management of media and communication activities, supporting the organization’s internal and external media and communication strategy, and responding to the requests of the Department of Public Information. In addition to designing and developing the necessary media materials for the organization’s work in line with the visual identity of the organization..

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a weekly plan for his tasks in coordination with the line manager.
  • Collaborate with the line manager to develop a general plan for projects.
  • High-level coordination with the team and departments of the organization.
  • Editing and producing video materials of all kinds using professional editing programs and creating attractive content.
  • Archiving and preserving media materials and designs in a reliable manner that ensures their safety and sharing.
  • Submit daily, weekly and monthly work reports to the line manager.
  • Balancing priorities to ensure timely delivery of content,
    Understand business needs and formulate a scenario for videography.
  • Review the raw materials to contribute to the drafting of the video, taking into account the connection between the scenes.
  • Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production.
  • Develop basic templates for video products to suit the visual identity.
  • Contribute to the development of digital content ideas through various social networking sites and the official website.
  • Any additional tasks requested by the line manager.
Note: The above-mentioned key responsibilities/accountabilities are illustrative ones. Other future responsibilities/accountabilities may be assigned to the job depending on the department’s organizational chart.
Qualification (Education – Work Experience):
Essential:
    • High school with minimum specialized courses in the field of media.
    • Four years of experience in the field of media.
    • Three years of experience as a video editor.
    • Creative thinking, storytelling, and teamwork skills.
Desirable:
    • University degree or intermediate institute in related fields.
    • Proficiency in using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator andInDesign design and editing programs.
    • Proficiency in voiceover.
    • 2 years of experience working within the humanitarian field.

    • Experience in using social media platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter …).
    • Proficiency in using design and editing programs After Effects , Premiere andAudition.
