Job Purpose:

Responsible for supervising all GBV activities by developing plans, following up on their implementation, and following up on case management services with in-depth technical supervision. As well as following up on individual and group psychological support activities, preparing periodic reports, and monitoring the documentation process. Responsible for building the team’s capabilities by developing plans, following up on training, and attending training and training non-specialists.

Key Responsibilities:
  •  Supervising the case management team and follow-up cases on an ongoing basis.
  • Supervising the psychological support team.
  • Provide regular supervisory sessions on case management in GBV.
  • Monitoring the training needs of the psychosocial support team periodically.
  • Providing training for all the GBV teams working in the field.
  • Providing training on GBV to non-specialists.
  • Providing training on GBV risk analysis.
  • Follow up on complex cases in case management.
  • Supervising the safety audit.
  • Responsible for writing periodic project reports.
  • Follow up on all documentation processes periodically and check their quality.
  • Verify that the project team and staff adhere to standard GBV procedures.
Note: The above-mentioned key responsibilities/accountabilities are illustrative ones. Other future responsibilities/accountabilities may be assigned to the job depending on the department’s organizational chart.
Qualification (Education – Work Experience):
Essential:
    • Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, or a field closely related to the required work.
    • Two years of experience managing cases of gender-based violence survivors.
    • One year of experience in case management supervision.
    • Good background in dealing with the target group.
    • Good knowledge of basic and additional training such as managing cases of GBV, and studying the risks and types of GBV.
Desirable:
    • Master’s degree in psychology or Social Sciences.
    • More than three years of professional experience in the same position.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
