Job Purpose:

The WOMEN AND GIRLS SAFE SPACES (WGSS) Manager manages all sections of the center, supervises the implementation of the work plan, and supervises the safety and security of the team and beneficiaries in the center and the materials it contains. Send periodic reports to the direct manager and follow up on the direct manager’s directions regarding implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordination with the authorities supervising the center and informing them of its work in coordination with the direct manager.
  • Monitoring the progress of the center’s work within the work plan.
  • Monitoring the progress of the implementation of the center’s activities.
  • Supervising the operations of processing the logistics requirements of the center in coordination with the direct manager and procurement department.
  • Send daily reports on the center’s work to the project manager, according to the forms used in the protection department.
  • Maintaining the security and safety of the team and beneficiaries, the center, and its contents.
  • Responsible for all employees within the center in terms of administrative and technical aspects, in coordination with the technical supervisor of the center.
  • Explanation of the various services provided by the safe space for women and girls.
  • Write weekly reports on the center to the project manager.
  • Develop daily, weekly, and monthly work plans for the center in coordination with the technical supervisor.
Note: The above-mentioned key responsibilities/accountabilities are illustrative ones. Other future responsibilities/accountabilities may be assigned to the job depending on the department’s organizational chart.
Qualification (Education – Work Experience):
Essential:
    • Bachelor’s degree.
    • One year of Experience in administrative work.
    • Good administrative qualifications.
Desirable:
    • Excellent experience in project management (planning, implementation).
    • Good background in protection projects.
    • More than three years of professional experience in the same position.
    • Good level of English.
