Job Purpose:

The WGSS Manager manages all sections of the center, supervises the implementation of the work plan, and supervises the safety and security of the team and beneficiaries in the center and the materials it contains. Sends periodic reports agreed upon with the project officer and team leader and follows up on the directives of the project officer and team leader regarding implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organizing daily, weekly, and monthly work plans in accordance with the scope of work and the project schedule.
  • Supervise the operations of processing the logistical supplies for the center in coordination with the Administrative Director and the Purchasing Department.
  • Matching the means of verification software with digital statistics to ensure the integrity and accuracy of the database.
  • Training the team on the correct entry of daily data on the Kobo links shared by the project manager.
  • Facilitating the mission of work teams and the monitoring and evaluation team inside and outside the center and coordinating field activities.
  • Monitoring the implementation of the Center’s activities within the established plan and receiving and archiving daily statistics from the team.
  • Sending daily and weekly reports on the work progress of the center to the project manager according to the models used in the protection department.
  • Full responsibility for all employees within the center in terms of administrative and technical aspects, in coordination with the technical supervisor of the center.
  • Evaluate team performance in coordination with the protection team leader.
  • Contribute to preparing the services map and update it periodically and in coordination with the technical supervisor.
  • Review the reports of the monitoring and evaluation team and respond to comments and notes in coordination with the project manager.
  • Hold periodic meetings with the work team to identify the problems and challenges they face in the field and propose appropriate solutions during the project implementation period.
Note: The above-mentioned key responsibilities/accountabilities are illustrative ones. Other future responsibilities/accountabilities may be assigned to the job depending on the department’s organizational chart.
Qualification (Education – Work Experience):
Essential:
    • A university degree (4 years minimum).
    • Experience in administrative work (at least one year).
    • Good administrative qualifications.
Desirable:
    • Excellent experience in project management (planning, implementation).
    • Good background in protection projects.
    • At least one year of professional experience in the same position.
    • Good level of English.
