Job Purpose:

A Data Entry role involves entering data from various sources into the computer system for processing and management. A candidate working in data entry must efficiently manage a large amount of often sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible, and check the output.
  • Insert data by inputting text-based and numerical information from source documents within time limits.
  • Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations.
  • Scan documents and print files when needed.
  • Respond to queries for information and access relevant files.
  • Ensure proper use of office equipment and address any malfunctions.
  • Compile, verify the accuracy, and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry.
  • Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents.
Note: The above-mentioned key responsibilities/accountabilities are illustrative ones. Other future responsibilities/accountabilities may be assigned to the job depending on the department’s organizational chart.
Qualification (Education – Work Experience):
Essential:
    • High school diploma or similar certificates
    • Ability to speak both Arabic and English.
    • At least one year of experience in a similar position.
    • Advanced level of typing speed and accuracy
Desirable:
    • Experience in humanitarian work and its principles
    • Experience in using office equipment, such as a printer and scanner.
